Singleplayer Career Mode - Start Your Journey To The Top!

Let’s talk about the new Singleplayer Career Mode available in Today's July BETA!

In Singleplayer, you are the manager of a Super Buckyball team starting at the bottom but vying for gold in a 4-tier tournament. Recruit players, hone your team, and be the winners this season!

You’ll be able to control all 3 of your players on the field and swap fluidly between them at the press of a button, giving you full control of the flow of the game and the ability to pull off incredible plays all on your own!

During this BETA, the Singleplayer Mode will end after reaching the 2nd tier and is estimated to have about 5 hours of content when playing standard 4-minute matches, though more content will be on the way in the future.

Our three new champions, Murphy, Kenny, and Blade, won’t be available in the Singleplayer Mode during this Beta, but in the future, they’ll be joining our roster of champions, known as star players in Singleplayer Mode. In this career campaign, there will also be many role players to recruit that can help your team rise to the top.

The Transfer Market menu allows you to buy players from other teams or sign them on as free agents, though the Transfer Market is only open during the preseason. After the preseason ends, you’ll have to work on improving the players you’ve got.

Characters cost more to recruit based on their skills and overall rating, with higher rated players costing more, and role players generally being more affordable to recruit than star players. But if you’re able to land some star players, they’ll be valuable assets with more powerful abilities to master and higher growth potential than role players are capable of.

As a rookie in the league, the role and star players that you can afford to start off with will have limited stats and moves, which you can level up and unlock by earning experience from completing matches.

Leveling up earns potential points which you can invest directly into improving your chosen players’ stats, and hitting certain levels will unlock new moves.

For your players that aren’t currently participating in matches, you can schedule training sessions so that they can level up, too.

You can also improve your abilities with equipment from the Equipment Store, though they can cost some hefty coins. Earn more money by winning matches!

There’s more to it, but that’s the gist of Singleplayer Mode. In less than 1 day, you’ll be able to try it out for yourself!

See you on the field soon!
